Welcome
In loving memory of Hailey Christine Rhodes, Hailey’s Book Club reaches out to recognize and celebrate young readers, their teachers, and their school’s library.
Hailey’s Book Club is a non-profit 501(c)(
3),offering you a convenient opportunity to order and donate new, hardcover books complete with your personalized, laminated
dedication bookplates, scripted to honor someone special to you. Your student will receive special recognition for your gift to their library. There it will become a
permanent addition to your student’s school library, where it will be enjoyed by many students for many years to come.
What is Hailey's Book Club?
We are a non-profit, 501(c)(3) established in June, 2006 as a perpetual memorial to a very special little girl, Hailey Christine Rhodes who at the very young age of 6, had a true passion for reading and loved her school, Canyon Elementary in Glendale, Arizona. Being inspired by her dreams to someday be a librarian and an artist, and forever touched by her love, her vibrant energy, creative talents and imagination; friends and family have gathered to honor her in a way that “her little light” and love for reading will live on, in the hands of other boys and girls as they find enjoyment in reading a book, the way Hailey did.
Hailey’s Book Club volunteers donate our time to collect and process your book orders. We work closely with the schools who have adopted our program, to provide you with a recommended booklist for your ordering convenience. The booklists are compiled by the school’s librarians, who have screened them for appropriate content, and selected them based on popularity, the needs of the library, and matching them to the teacher’s curriculum. We maintenance the list, removing books that have been ordered, and refresh it monthly with newly recommended books. We order the books, prepare the bookplates to your specification, attach a “recognition strap” and deliver them to the selected school, for donation.
